Smoothpay plan
Simple scheduled payments with Smoothpay
By setting up simple fortnightly or monthly payments for a fixed amount, you can enjoy even more peace of mind when paying your energy bill – this is called Smoothpay.
This means that when we send you a bill, it will have already been eased with your Smoothpay plan.
When we get a meter reading we’ll check your actual usage against your payments. Your bill will then be adjusted for any energy usage over and above the regular payments you made.
You can also choose the payment to be on a day that best suits you. After you’ve joined, you also have the flexibility to move to smaller fortnightly payments instead.
We also won’t take any payments until we first notify you of the date and the amount.
Debit or credit card payment
We collect payments by direct debit or from a credit or debit card card that is securely stored by our bank, Westpac.
Smart meters
If you have a smart meter, we recommend setting up a direct debit to pay automatically each month after we’ve calculated your costs. We'll always tell you the amount before taking any payment.
